How and where did it all begin?

This question comes up a lot and so I have decided to share the story with you.

But first, we need to go back quite a number of years....

Since I can remember, my mom grew herbs. Needless to say, but for every illness there was herbs and Lennon drops or some traditional remedy, and if non of these helped, then we would go to the doctor. Even long after leaving home, I still believed in Lennon drops, Sinucon, Borstol, Bicarb of Soda, Maizina, Vaseline and Camphor cream. (Some might remember those days)

As a late bloomer, I only got married at 37, and still thought that this is all I needed for a medical cabinet, but soon I realized that "some people" need a bit more than that. Soon after this discovery.... we ended up with chronic medication and regular checkups and blah blah blah...

Don't we all know that getting older doesn't always make your stronger, nor does it make you wiser (Although we believe so, because Google is at your fingertips.)

We faced several health challenges, added to this was financial challenges after I have lost my job due to retrenchment in December 2018, and soon after that, my wive discovered that she was allergic to almost every soap and shampoo on the market. We tried several brands and even baby products, but nothing seemed to work. We even tried creams and lotions that was supposed to help, but nothing worked.

The Inspiration

Me and my Wife, Tracy. She was the one who inspired me to make soap after she became allergic to store bought soap.

I could not stand the suffering she had to go through, the dry and cracked itchy skin that caused her to scratch so much until it start to bleed. She didn't feel good about herself and also become very negative. To add to this, I was suffering from severe depression at that time due to unemployment.

I went to Jacob's Well, a support group for people who find themselves in between jobs, every week.

As I attended these sessions, there was someone who came to speak to us about how to keep yourself busy, and find something to do. Pray to God to show you and guide you to start doing something.

One day, my brother phoned me about some courses that I could do for free, so I went online and checked it out. there was a beginners introductory course on soap making and I decided to to the course. I completed the course, and just like any "Educated" person jumped in and made my first soap.... only to realize it was an introductory course

Needless to say, it came out exactly how it should not have came out.

I was determined to make soap to help my wive and continued to study and learn more about soap making. I have continued to make soap that ended up some worse and some better, but I did not give up.

After several attempts of terrible soap making and horribile smelling soaps, it started to come all together and we started to make progress until we have came where we are today.

Through trail and error we created soap that is suitable for all ages, all skin types and all skin conditions.
